It is one thing to scratch out a few notes and go teach. It is another to write clearly, document and footnote, organize and then produce it all in a visually attractive package. That takes time and much effort. Authors who are willing to do that need to be compensated for their effort. Such compensation will serve to encourage them to make more material available and will bring online more authors.

We certainly hope so! However, no one can certify a book "sound" for you. Further, only one book can be recommended without qualification, the bible. Everything that is here, and we mean for that to be taken in the most literal sense of the word, should be checked by the Divine Standard, God's Word (Acts 17:11).
