The author writes
"This book was first published in 1991 as a
compilation of material I had written pertaining to the
issues involved. My repeated travels to the Middle East
since 1967 have allowed me to develop a strong interest
in the conditions there. I have personal friends among
both the Israelis and the Arabs, including the
Palestinians. For several years I taught a course at
Florida College dealing with millennial speculations.
This has given me a background to better understand some
of the theological presuppositions of those who
speculate on the situation in the Middle East."
Contents include: Israel,
the Bible, and Premillennialism; Iraq; Babylon; Ur;
Mesopotamian Sites; God's Use of Nations; Turning Swords
into Plowshares; The Moslem Religion; Israel in
Prophecy; Babylon in Prophecy; Nineveh in Prophecy; Maps
of the Middle East and the Ancient Biblical World.
